Julio Suarez is an independent Technology Transfer & IP Management Consultant supporting the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), Army Research Laboratory (ARL), and the New Horizons Foundation (NHF). With 18 years of experience in Dept. of Defense (DoD) technology transfer, he offers expertise in processes, regulations, and IP management. His services include direct marketing of ARL inventions, guidance on patent licenses and agreements, and support for CRADAs and TSAs. Before focusing on DoD technology transfer, Julio held senior roles in the For-Profit Tradeshow industry, managing P&L and leading sales teams for B2B tradeshows across the US and Mexico. He is a Certified Licensing Professional (CLP) with a BS in Economics from Towson University, and he has served in the US Army and US Army Reserves as a Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical (NBC) NCO.
