In mid-November, New Horizons Foundation convened a meeting in the Roundhouse, New Mexico’s Capitol in Santa Fe, with State of Mexico officials and a team of senior research scientists from the U.S. Army Armament, Research, Development and Engineering Center to explore ways that NHF can bring federal research lab technologies to New Mexico. At the meeting, NHF was presented with a formal Letter of Support from the Office of Lt. Gov. John A. Sanchez, who with Economic Development Department Secretary Matthew Geisel endorsed the NHF’s unique business model as a new way for New Mexico’s communities to access and use federal research lab technologies as the basis for strengthening their local economy. These images were taken at the meeting by Santa Fe photographer Stefan Wachs.
