NHF Connects: Oil/Water Technology

On a recent trip to the U.S. Naval Sea Systems Laboratories (NAVSEA Labs), the NHF delegation identified an oil/water separation technology that may be of particular interest and use to oil producers in the Permian Basin.

New Horizons Foundation (NHF) is one of just a few organizations in the country with the ability to license and develop patentable, innovative processes for the use of the technologies found and developed with NAVSEA. There are any number of technologies currently being explored by NHF for application in the oil production industry. WITH WATER BEING OF GREAT INTEREST, there is a ‘heightened’ effort in review of related technologies.

NHF Staff has spoken with an entrepreneur in Lea County who is interested in partnering to further develop and deploy this particular technology. Additional, related discussions will occur on NHF’s next trip to the lab after the holidays. NHF TRIPS ARE OPEN TO ALL INTERESTED BUSINESSES.

For more information about these technologies, and/or visiting the federal laboratories, contact: Dale Gannaway, Executive Director – New Horizons Foundation, (575) 492-4712.
